What to consider as capitial inversment for equipment and supplies for a expanding lawn & landscaping company?
Q. I want to meet with the Small Business Association and want to have a clear idea of the cost associated with expanding my lawn service business and how to get letters of intent from Suppliers.

A. Do you mean the Small Business Administration? You will need to have a CPA work up your pro forma numbers for capital needs and proposed return on that investment. Don't go it alone because your proposal and application to the bank, you do not deal with the SBA directly, will be very close scrutinized. Good luck.
