The biophysical environment is the symbiosis between the physical environment and the biological life forms within the environment, and includes all variables that comprise the Earth's biosphere. The biophysical environment can be divided into two categories: the natural environment and the built environment, with some overlap between the two. Following the industrial revolution, the built environment has become an increasingly significant part of the Earth's environment. From Wikipedia under the

If so, what would I need? I have some origami and other paper projects that I would like to leave outdoors if possible. But if not, I can always bring them back in during bad weather. Thank you for your time. Asked by artistguy - Sun May 4 00:13:54 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. If you use some type of sealer ... polyurethane or varnish, etc. ... even a clear spray-paint ... that would at least help to make your projects somewhat waterproof. But, keep in mind that, even if sealed, the color in the paper will fade if exposed to sunlight. I had a couple of painted chairs (that I had decorated using scrapbooking paper and decoupage medium, then varnish). They sat on my front porch (in total shade) over the course of a summer ... and even indirect sunlight caused them to fade noticeably within a few months. I have just taken on two rescue cats who have never been outdoors in their lives and they are both fully grown, will they be okay if i start letting them out. It just seems cruel to keep them cooped up. Asked by gemba253 - Tue Feb 5 12:57:30 2008 - - 20 Answers - 0 Comments A. cats can't be confined in the house all the time. they need fresh air and exercise. however, making them an outside cat permanently, is a bad idea depending on the environment outside. example, no fenced in yard, other cats.. ect. but if your yard does have a fence. here are some suggestions: 1. leave the door open when the cats are near it. cats are very curious, so they can't help but not at least look outside. if they act like they're not interested, leave the room and let them explore by themselves. but check on them. 2. step outside and call them to you. talk in a very gentle voice. if they are still hesitant, sit in a chair or on the ground/grass and act very comfortable and pretend not to pay attention to them. they'll wonder… [cont.] Answered by unknown - Tue Feb 5 13:44:18 2008 Letting a rescue outdoors for the first time?
Q. I have a 3 year old cat who we have recently given a home to. We have kept her indoors for 4 weeks as instructed but now she is ready to go outdoors. What is the best way to let her out but make sure she comes back and not get lost? Should I buy a harness for her and walk her round the garden until she gets used to it, or just let her out? Asked by Anri86 - Thu Sep 20 13:03:30 2007 - - 11 Answers - 0 Comments A. Cats are outdoor animals so you should be encouraged to let it outside. Don't try the harness though. Do what previous answers have reccomended by opening a door (etc) just before feeding time and let her find her own way out. Try and do something in the garden at the same time, so she knows you are there. You might want to try just letting her out for short periods to begin with. The hardest thing for me with our 3 rescue cats was relaxing and not worrying every time they went out of sight! But cats are clever and will generally be fine.
