What do you think?? Asked by Little T - Wed Jun 11 23:07:04 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Water skiing. It is a much easier way to learn about the water and learn how to stay up. Doing it on a boom will make learning much, much easier. If you know how to stay up on water skis, then you already have the concept of skiing down, and you can move into other sports. I have tried water skiing and wakeboarding, and even though I don't much like them (my own personal hobby is barefoot water skiing) I think it is important to try out all water sports so that you have a bit of experience with each one. With two skis, and on a boom, it is much easier to control and much more forgiving. Make sure that you know how to wakeboard and water ski on a boom FIRST, and that you are comfortable with it, then try to do longline.
