I need to find an electrical cord stop.?
Q. I need to affix a light fixture on the ceiling. There is no hard wiring present so I am extending a wire from the fixture to the socket down near the ground. I got everything except a "cord stop", I need this for my project to work, does anyone know where I could buy one, it's a specialty piece that does not sell at any regular hardware store.

Rat Gender?
Q. I always thought of rats as these nasty, dirty scavengers that you only find in disgusting places, till I met someone with two rats down my street. Rats are auctually fun, loveable, cuddly, everything you want from a pet! So I decided to get a couple. I'm going to head over to Petsmart tomorrow to buy two of them, but I have a few question. I won't be getting a specialty wire cage with powder so I don't want a male (from what I read males "mark" the wire and if they aren't powdered they stink). So I want two females. But will Petsmart be able to tell me if they're male or female?, because usually it's no touch until you buy so I can't check easily. And if I do get two females, what is the likelihood of them being pregnant already and me… [cont.]

A. Petsmart has a policy of only carrying one sex for their small animals. So they'll either have all males or all females. Male rats are easy to tell from females because they have very visible testicles under the base of their tail. But the description in the store should tell you the sex.
