What are the causes of transmission fluid leaking? Q. What are some possible causes and how are they handled? Asked by Simplygreat - Thu Jun 11 12:19:35 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments why do fractionators have less diameter in the top portion compared to the bottom? Q. In many chemical industries, strippers and splitters have less dia in top portion. Does it depend on fluids that are handling? Asked by Sri - Mon Feb 2 21:18:17 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Yes, the amount of vapor and liquid load determines the diameter needed. In very small columns there is very little money to be saved so the whole column is the same diameter but very large columns there is significant money to be saved in reducing the upper section. Usually the biggest vapor/liquid load in on the bottom trays and that typically sets the lower diameter. There are other cases where there are side drawoffs that change the liquid/vapor load. Q. My 3 year old persian had some bad dental issues, and we took her into the vet and she is now loosing a total of 5 teeth..aside from that, shes never had a reaction to IV's or anesthesia.. the vet said she was fine all day but when we got her home we noticed her breathing was very abnormal, took her back and the dr took a chest xray... said there was alot of fluid in her lungs she needed to go to the emergency where they will give her oxygen and 24 hour care... we did that and she is still there.. and they are not sure if she had an underlying heart condition because of the fluids in there (makes it hard to see) or if she just got more fluids than her little body could handle... The only thing i can suggest is that the kitty probably had an underlying heart condition and the fluids and anesthesia set off the problem. This can happen alot of times, the kitty acts fine, sounds fine, blood work looks fine, but the surgery off sets something. Did they do an ECG prior to the surgery? I find it hard to believe that fluid would have gotten into her lungs during surgery, b/c they have a big long tube in the throat that is inflated to prevent things like that from happening. I know its hard to believe now, but sometimes these things can be a blessing at the time b/c you learn about the heart problem before it becomes untreatable. However, there can be other factors too such did they choose the right type of fluids,… [cont.] Answered by simply_genuine07 - Fri Jan 23 14:17:10 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Fluid Handling"
