A. Last one. 3GB RAM and >256MB VRAM is my recommendation for Vista. AMD is good, it s bit less power efficient and slightly favors focused-tasking over multitasking (like for games). Its funny how Mac users always try to hijack threads and get more people to fall into their trap. Most people actually use WinMacs eventually (of the 7% of Mac users 5 out of 7 are WinMacers).[link] Yeah, macs are good as expensive Windows machines that look fashionable.

A. Laptops are always a poor choice for gaming, CAD, AUTOCAD, and anything else that requires real graphics horse power. 1 Primary reason HEAT. Laptops can not dissipate heat like a desktop can. You put the exact same processor, RAM, and video card in any desktop versus any laptop, the Desktop will always win. Want a gaming system that will actually perform in WoW, LOTRO, DoD, AoC? Either of those will play ANY DirectX game available today.

A. I think that will work for you. If for some reason you run out of space you can always get an external hardrive which you easily plug in your laptop for more memory space.
