Q. I bought a router 12 days ago, before the liquidation deal, that needs to returned, so if I go there today to return it, are they going to refund my money, or are these liquidators going to say take a hike?

A. I think it's listed on their website. Anything bought before the 17th, with receipt of course, can be returned. Anything after the 17th is sold and final.

A. Hello, You should contact the local quality used furniture stores in Manhattan and have them sned someone out. They would probably take it all for one price as well as pick it all up. Another option would be to simply have an apt sale (list it on craiglist new york and have an open house on a saturday and sunday sell all you can and have the salvation army come get the rest and give you a donation receipt or even a local battered women's shelter(I suggested this since you dont seem to care too much about the money) Best of luck

A. Yes I have it. My husband and I installed it ourselves. We've had it for about a year now. It did get scratched BUT NOT from my TWO dogs. It got scratched last Halloween when our neighbor's drink friends decided they would dance on our new bamboo floors in their army boots with ROCKS embedded in the soles!!! If that hadn't happened, the floor would be in great shape. The consistency is like wood. It will ding when you drop metal things like screwdrivers, but overall it's held up really well. The small dings are hidden by pattern of the bamboo. The best thing I like about the bamboo is the even temperature. My mom had maple floors and that were sooo cold in the winter time. The bamboo stays cool in summer and a tolerable cool in winter.… [cont.]

A. Lumber Liquidators Open (you mean Classic?)? I don't remember that event ever starting a season, or even existing anymore. The opening event this year is the Motor City Open which is one-and-a-half weeks from now. This Sunday (the 25th) is the Women's and Seniors' World Championship, and the Trick Shot Invitational which is an exhibition event. I'm looking forward to watching that.

A. It was pretty decent at one point but somehow within the last year or so, things have dropped off. I used to purchase night lights for the bedroom at a cheap price, but now it seems as if the company that used to service them (Satco) no longer does that. Everything else is so-so but they WERE better years ago.

A. i LOVED national wholesale liquidators. Are you familliar with Big Lots?? its like Big Lots on crack!! They have everything in there, from furniture (bought my blue suede futon there... $500, LOVE IT!) to housewares (Got a 18pc Glass set for $20, LOVE IT!) to clothes (never bought hte clothes, looked cheap). My only negative experience there was a set of sheets i bought, felt like sand paper. When i did have a problem (they ran my card 4 times once when the computer was down), the manager was very nice and helped me with no problems or question. But while in his office, i saw a mouse... so dont buy food stuff there.

A. As far as i know, they can't if it's a legitimate contribution overs the years and not an unfair contribution to the super in fear of getting bankrupt. So it depend on case per case and can be a long battle for liquidators which they avoid if super is not a huge sum. Good question
