A. In this regards, organisation chooses to outsource certain business functions/business process to subcontractors. It can be in form of manufacturing, accounting, purchasing, marketing, so on and so forth. For instance, Nike, renowned sport-wear brand, does not produce the sport shoes itself. Instead, it outsourced the manufacturing function to its subcontractors. Specifically, Nike will provide raw materials and designs to the subcontractors, and these subcontractors will manufacture the products as per the specification laid down. I am looking for local or US based production/manufacturing companies, do you know of a way to find them?
Q. Hello, I have been working on this for a while now and it's becoming rather frustrating. I am trying to find a reputable, professional manufacturing company that is based in the US. I thought this would be fairly simple but as it turns out, it isn't. I would do production myself if I had the money to invest in the things I need like a water jet cutter, tig machine and some other forms of plastic molding. But this all would cost many thousands of dollars that I simply do not have in my business budget. I have been looking on thomas.net and I have posted a few ads on alibaba.com but I haven't really found what I seek. Alibaba only seems to have manufacturers from asia, thomas.net is a sort of chase around that I find no pleasure in. … [cont.]
