Service level measures the performance of a system. Certain goals are defined and the service level gives the percentage to which they should be achieved.

Examples

  • Percentage of calls answered in a call center.
  • Percentage of customers waiting less than a given fixed time.
  • Percentage of customers that do not experience a stock out.

How is the level of DUBAI TRANSPORTATION service ?
Q. Really I was surprising that the level of the service was very low even if you requested special service by phone. You need to wait a least one hour till get the requested Taxi and if you are waiting in road you will not catch any taxi. Do you believe that ???

A. I love Dubai! Maybe you should tell the Convention & Visitor's bureau. I heard they're new Metro system will be full-scaled and high class. Maybe things can change if you tell the Tourism place.

Has anyone used Caremark mail order pharmacy and what is their service level on a scale of 1-10?
Q. In addition to their service levels, I'd like to know the following: 1) Do they automatically dispense generics even if the prescription is written for the brand name? 2) Do they ship accurate medications - both type and quantity? 3) What is the lead time they ship refills? 4) If you change a dosage do they adjust the next shipment quantity or do they ship the new prescription in full (even though it's "early") and do they correctly bill the co-pays/insurance? 5) Any issues with them being slow on meds that are not "common" even if their website indicates they carry them? Is it affecting only the initial fill or refills as well? Thanks.

A. I've used Caremark for years. I'd rate them 9. 1) They won't dispense generics if you tell them not to. (It's on the form you need to send in with your Rx.) If you want brand name, ask you doc to write D.A.W. on your script. (Dispense As Written) 2) They ship accurate medicications. However, once or twice they shorted me 1 pill in an order. The pills are weighed out - not counted. 3) They give you a choice of how long it'll take. Regular takes about 5-8 days. For more money, they'll ship it express or overnight. You need to pay for it. 4) They can't change the dosage. It's whatever your doctor orders for you. Bills are correct. 5) The first order might take a little longer to receive. When you call in for a refill, it's only… [cont.]
