Is there any beach in North Florida or Alabama where you can camp in tents?
Q. I've been checking around for primitive camping sites in the Northern Florida Panhandle and Gulf Shores, Alabama where the tents can be set up on the beach instead of nearby areas. It seems that most camping areas are now set as RV parks and tent camping always seems to be delegated to remote locations away from the beach. We are looking for the experience of sleeping near the water to be able to fall asleep hearing the waves.

A. Gulf Coast State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama has primitive camp sites but again it is across from the beach but still within walking distance. I believe there are regulations on camping on coastal properties that no longer allow "Beach camping"

Is it worth the trip to Oktoberfest if we don t have a ticket to one of the tents?
Q. Just to go and see the crowds outside the tents and the rides they have there?

A. If you have never been there before, it's worth it anyway. And if you're lucky, you might even get a place to sit in one of the tents, without a ticket. Try it in the afternoon.

is there a textile for tents that can hold rain?
Q. I know you can make anything out of plastic these days and I dislike plastic, too much pollution. so is there a textile that is water resistant and made out of natural materials? if it is, then I guess weaving and sewing is more different, right? what are nomadic cultures using for their tents? I know they use leather, is there something else?

A. Forget about natural fibers...too much work for too little life! Use Sunbrella...will not fade or rot! Totally water proof, but expensive to buy into...but last a very long time, so perhaps not so expensive after all.

is it illegal for homeless people to sleep in tents?
Q. even if they're small tents? like the kind that you just pop into shape? i mean, i see so many people just sleeping on the ground, and not one of them has a tent.
Asked by philupthetank86 - Sat Nov 17 14:21:01 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Depends on where the tent is. If it is in my front yard, then it is illegal. If if is in a state park at a camp site, then it is not illegal. I suspect that the reason most folks do not use tents is that they are in urban environments and it is tough to drive a stake through the sidewalk, and because a tent would attract the attention of the cops and of a person owning the place where the tent is pitched.

A. X-ray techs are assigned to both fixed facilities and field units. You could potentially be assigned to either type of unit. If in a fixed facility, you can also be considered PROFIS - assigned to a fixed facility for normal work purpose, but also assigned to a field unit to deploy in event of war or disasters. This is not uncommon. Field units include smaller types, such as Battalion Aid Stations, Forward Surgical Teams (from larger units), and Area Support Battalions. These are typically further forward in the combat theatre. Then the larger units, Combat Support Hospitals, are located further to the rear lines. But with modern warfare, the "front lines" are not the same as in WWII, and missle attacks are always a possibility. If… [cont.]

A. Outwell - they're huge! and you can add to them, extra pods to make them bigger. (Those big skandika one's look like the Outwells, however the outwells look of a better quality) The canvas type ones are more expensive, you're talking around the 1000 mark, but by far superior to the polyester type. OR a Tentipi ! I would love one! (out of my price range though!) happy camping!

A. First do not take anything of value that you do not need and those items you do need such as id and cash always carry with you if you do bring a radio don't bring an expensive one you can try locking tents as that does keep honest people honest but any one who want to get in your tent that badly simply will cut it. to try and avoid that simply keep very little in your tent and keep it in a very public area as thief's like privacy and do not want to be caught cutting into a tent were they can be seen. it also helps to be camping with friends as if you in a group with more then 4 tents the chances there will be some one around the tents goes up dramatically.

Q. How often does the husband and wife have to sleep in separate tents?
Asked by Truth Seeker 2020 - Mon Feb 9 14:48:19 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If you are asking about Jewish law, then the separation period starts at menstruation and lasts until a week after the bleeding has fully stopped and the wife has gone to the ritual bath (roughly 12 days a month), In addition, they would remain separate after childbirth, with different waiting periods depending on whether the baby was a boy or a girl.
