I picked up a pretty shiny blue one at Goodwill for not much. They are easy to ride. They do take some getting used to though. You need to practice in your driveway or other safe place before you take it on the road. Should they put warning labels on tricycles?

Q. When I do them my other leg won't stay straight and it's hard to get that foot pointed. How do I get up high enough for a tricycle without drastically bending the knee I'm launching off of?

Practicing between 2 chairs helps get used to the movement. And make sure one leg is not lazy because it makes it look sloppy!! Make sure both feet are pointed, high on your toes and you are hitting your bum. ive looked on youtube and at about 36seconds there is a bicycle on this video!! i'm not quite sure what a double butt is? would you be able to describe it as i may just not call it the same thing! is it like doing the bicycle but only hitting your bum twice?? hope this helps Charlotte x-x-x-x

I always wondered if you could get one of those things 'street-legal' - 'cos boy do they shift and corner fast - scarey stuff. The non-powered rear wheel was offset from the powered wheel though, and if you dont consider doing something similar you could end up with severe handling problems (unless you start going into differential axles,etc) But now your leading into a different topic - for a different forum!!!
