my trans sounds and drives as if it were stuck in low gear. isa 89devilleFWD and i dont want to do an overhaul Q. it's been this way over a year. the problem came after i put a 90 deville radiator in. all the hoses and lines lined up. the only adjustment i had to make was the end fittings. everything worked fine. now i have a new 89 radiator and a trans problem. is it the trans control module, trans control solenoid, trans temp sensor, or trans modulator valve. and whats the simplest all the way to the most aggrevating. i dont have the money or tools and equiptment to raise the engine up out to remove the trans. please help a 26 yr old broke father of 4. Asked by biggspit - Fri Jan 12 22:40:05 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. i do this for a living,,and it would have to be the shift solenoid for the transmission,or the tcc switch in the transmission that make it lock up..it don't have a modulator valve on it,,they stopped using those years ago,,everything today is controlled by computer or throttle cables ,so it would have to be one of the two,,good luck hope this help,s. Answered by dodge man - Fri Jan 12 22:51:58 2007 I am trying to determine the flow rate (in gallons per minute) for a 1 (inside diameter) hose siphon:? Q. I am trying to determine the flow rate (in gallons per minute), discharge PSI, and velocity for a semi-rigid 1 (inside diameter) hose siphon: The hose draws water from a pool of standing water. The hose 50 long. The incline is 45 degrees. If friction loss is a significant factor, assume the hose has similar properties to PVC pipe. There are no directional fittings, valves, or any other obstructions to the water flow. Assume the hose is laid in a straight line from the pool of water to the discharge point at a 45 degree slope. All calculations should assume the hose is running full. Asked by hd_cam_man - Sun Jan 20 12:41:34 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Here's an example using the Hazen-Williams empirical formula to estimate this. The second gives you flow rate assuming flow of about a foot per minute. At 45 degrees, your rate will be more like a foot per second. The third gives a more detailed analytical method. I don't know man if you turn the boost up maybe 250 hp 195 ft.lbs of torque. With a built engine you can crank the boost to like 20 psi. Seriously consider a K20 swap though before you pour out all this money a K20 with a supercharger will be right there beisde you if not in front Answered by so_fast420 - Thu Aug 31 14:53:19 2006 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Valves, Hoses, and Fittings" Foreign-Trade Zone 134 Chattanooga, TN, Application for Temporary ...
