A. The fast watch gains twenty minutes, the slow watch loses 40 to make the hour. So need twenty multiples of 45 minutes, which is 900 minutes, or fifteen hours. Fifteen hours before 6.40am is 3.40pm the day previous.

My dad had the old 8 page bibles when I was a kid, and I assure you, they were just funny to a little guy,and I was never corrupted by the books.And I never got caught.

Has someone invented a device to keep Casio Waveceptor watches synchronized over the internet, using NTP?

As for the watches unless you have a retail store, no brand name watch company will give you a license as they do not like their brands to be sold cheaply online.

Q. Most people who are right handed wear their wristwatch on their left hand, and I wondered what it means if people who are right handed who wear their watch on their right wrist. Is their something different in their psychology. I noticed most people on these forums say that we wear our watch on the opposite of the dominant hand because of practicality, but this doesn't make sense to me- I, and others I know, wear our watches on our particular wrists naturally, there was no thought behind it.

A. I think the Law of Parsimony can be applied here (that is, the preference for the least complex explanation for an observation). Wearing your watch on the non-dominant hand became a custom to avoid damage to the watch or to the hand by the watch, for ease of access, etc. It probably is not so crucial nowadays, but became customary, as you say, due to practicality. (The same way a wedding ring is worn on the left hand.) There doesn't seem to be a need for a more complicated explanation. But of course there are always exceptions and if you wear your watch on your dominant hand without giving it any thought, then it was just a 50-50 chance with regard to which hand you chose.
