I always have racoon eyes and see girls with beautiful tans, but it's not even summer yet! I started wearing my eyewear for 1/3 of the time, and then taking it off and now my tan looks very nice. Is this what other girls are doing??? Asked by Euronymous - Tue Mar 31 03:22:32 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Yes. Some don't even wear them at all. However I would not recommend it because even with your eyes closed you can still burn your eyes because the skin on the eye lids is thin and cannot protect your eyes alone. What you are doing is ok as long as you do not do it every time you tan maybe every other time. Good luck and happy tanning =) Answered by brockmichaels81 - Tue Mar 31 07:57:03 2009 What are the effects of not using eyewear in the tanning bed? Q. I really don't care if you think the tanning bed is the devil, I'm still going to tan, regardless. Q. What is the difference between EMI and Antireflective coat on eyewear lenses? Asked by sid - Wed Mar 28 04:47:06 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Anti-reflective or antireflection (AR) coatings are a type of optical coating applied to the surface of lenses and other optical devices to reduce reflection. This improves the efficiency of the system since less light is lost. In complex systems such as a telescope, the reduction in reflections also improves the contrast of the image by elimination of stray light. This is especially important in planetary astronomy. In other applications, the primary benefit is the elimination of the reflection itself, such as a coating on eyeglass lenses that makes the eyes of the wearer more visible, or a coating to reduce the glint from a sniper's scope. Often, coatings are composed of transparent thin film structures, with alternating layers of… [cont.] Answered by Nothing_tolose - Wed Mar 28 10:34:40 2007 From Yahoo Answer Search: "eyewear" |
