how can i break open a large hollow rock without machinery?
Q. i found a large rock in the woods in WV. there was a crack on one side of it with little crystals growing in it. the other side is hollow (probley somewhere 2-6in. thick) . i was told that there might be some larger crystals in that cavity. but it is so deep in the woods we only has acces to hand tools and any thing we can carry

A. If there is a tree nearby, rig up a rope/pulley thing. Over the rock, suspend a heavy weight. Have a knot or something on the rope so the weight will only fall to about halfway down the hieght of the rock. (you don't want to crush it)Using the pulley(s) to help lift the weight, bring it up over the rock. Let it fall as often as needed to break the rock.

A. that's beautiful. I believe that we are born with innate gifts and we must discover them and grow them. Then we can do almost anything. I don't think it's as easy as you seem to intimate, though. .

A. I think it depends on the type of job that you are looking for. Some don't require any computer skills. However, if you are concerned about not having skills for a particular type of job, then take a class and note it in your application. If a job requires more computer skills than you have, an employer might still consider your application because you have a grasp of the basics or have some skills. He/she might figure that they can teach you what you need to know for the job.
