Back in college a Friend told about this idea that we try to create things in our own image (take this as you will) first is fire, something with form next is tools, something that is solid then a machine, something that moves then an automatic machine, something that moves on it's own So given that one of those three must be next, something that thinks, something that takes commands, or something that is made of the same thing we are?

A. Artificial intelligence has successfully been used in a wide range of fields including medical diagnosis, stock trading, robot control, law, scientific discovery, video games and toys. Frequently, when a technique reaches mainstream use it is no longer considered artificial intelligence, sometimes described as the AI effect. It may also become integrated into artificial life.
