GNU Free Documentation License How do you turn a shower space into a tub? Q. When my husband and I bought our new house, it only had one bathroom. In fact I wouldn't even call it a whole bathroom, more like a 3/4 bath because there is only a tiled shower and toilet, no bathtub. The shower space is approx. 5 feet long x 3 feet deep and is completely tiled. There is no shower door, we just use a curtain rod. The drain is also in the middle of the tile floor. What would it take to convert this space into a bathtub? Would we have to create a new drain that would fit a standard tub? Would we have to knock out all the tile? I'm just looking for ideas from someone who may have had experience with this. We turned a tub into a shower space. It required breaking up the slab and relocating the drain. You'll have to make careful measurements. Take a 1/2 cup of baking soda and pour on top of the the drain...then add a 1/2 cup of white vinegar. It will foam and bubble up. Then add 2 quarts of hot water. Q. I have a Gainsborough Energy 2000X. The Original shower head provides excellent flow but leaks a lot so I need to replace it. When I attatch any different shower heads, the flow is decreased. Does anyone know why this might happen? If I buy a more expensive shower head, will the flow be better?
